Gas Suppression
Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems
Tyco Ansul | NOVEC 1230
The FK 5-1-12 fluid, commercially referenced as Novec™ 1230, is a clean and economic fire extinguishing agent that falls under the category of clean agents regulated by NFPA 2001.
Safe for living beings and non-aggressive to the environment, it is recommended for projects that demand LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification (which adopt Green Building practices).
The FK 5-1-12 fluid or Novec 1230 extinguishes the fire via its cooling effect, it works as a gas even if it is liquid at room temperature. Novec 1230 fluid is easy to handle and transport, as it is not stored or transported in pressurized cylinders.
The Novec 1230/FK 5-1-12 fluid Fire-Fighting Systems applied by FIRE SOLUTION use UL, FM, LPCB, VDS, and CE certified agent and equipment.
Tyco Ansul Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems – FM200
The HFC-277ea fire suppressor gas, commercially referenced as FM-200, is used in fire-fighting systems and falls under the category of clean agents regulated by NFPA 2001: Standard on Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Systems.
HFC-227 or FM-200 was the first non-harmful option to the ozone layer to replace Halon 1301. It is suitable for extinguishing Class A, B, and C fires and when discharged, leaves no residues, particles, water, or corrosive materials in the goods or equipment, and can be removed from the environment by simple ventilation.
It is recommended for fire protection of environments that store high-value equipment and data vital to the operation of a company.
Tyco Ansul Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems – CO2
HIGH-PRESSURE CARBON DIOXIDE SYSTEMS
The CO2, carbon dioxide, suppresses fire without leaving behind any residues after the discharge thus avoiding damage to sensitive equipment. With no agent clean up, there is less downtime after the incident. When properly designed, the carbon dioxide system suppresses fire in Class A, B, and C hazards by displacing the air containing oxygen that supports combustion.
Typical hazards protected by carbon dioxide systems include printing presses, vaults, open pits, dip tanks, spray booths, ovens, engine rooms, coating machines, process equipment, ducts, flammable gas or liquid storage areas, and generators.geradores.
Tyco Ansul Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems – INERGEN
INERGEN is a gaseous extinguishing agent comprised of 52% nitrogen, 40% argon, and 8% carbon dioxide, all of which are gases normally found in the Earth’s atmosphere, but in different concentrations.
Therefore, the mixture of gases that compose INERGEN is a non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-combustible, non-conductive, and non-reactive mixture with most substances and, in addition to not damaging the ozone layer, it does not contribute to global warming, unlike synthetic agents.
HOW INERGEN WORKS
For the combustion of the vast majority of materials to happen, the level of oxygen in the environment must be higher than 15%. INERGEN works by reducing the oxygen level for amounts below such limit, preventing further combustion.
INERGEN reduces the level of oxygen to 12.5% while simultaneously increases the level of carbon dioxide to 4%. The rise in the level of CO2 increases the respiration rate and the body’s ability to absorb oxygen, in order to offset the reduction of oxygen in the environment, thus allowing the survival of people, with no damages to their health.
Kitchen Hood Fire Suppression Systems by Saponifying Agent – R-102
R-102
Modular systems of unique value, to deal with fires in kitchens
The R-102 system can be configured in multiple manners, always adjusted to a specific application, depending on the kitchen’s dimensions and its functional organization.
The type of system adopted is selected by our technicians through a careful analysis, based on UL300 and NFPA 17 and 96 Standards, taking into consideration:
-
Dimensions of the fume hood and extraction ductwork;
-
Amount, type, and dimensions of the manufacturing equipment being protected;
-
Amount of diffusers and thermal fusers to use;
-
Dimensions and amount of deposits of extinguishing agent required by the system;

Foam Systems
Foam Chambers
Equipment to create fire-fighting foam, promoting the necessary expansion of the foam solution and its introduction onto the affected areas. Fire Solution provides foam chambers and foam generators for all applications, in compliance with many different standards: NFPA 11, Petrobras N-1203, Technical Instructions and Standards of the Fire Departments, and Brazilian Standard NBR 17505.

Foam Concentrate
There are incidents of fire that need to be combated very quickly due to their high risk. Foam concentrates (LGE) are excellent extinguishing agents used for this purpose, forming a thick foam mattress in flammable and combustible liquids, preventing or extinguishing the fire by expelling the air and cooling the fuel. We have a complete line of high-quality foam concentrate (LGE) to meet different needs.

Foam Eductors
Equipment essential for extinguishing fire in combustible and/or flammable liquids. They are intended to measure LGE in the water intended for extinguishing fire to form Foam.
Fire Solution works together with national and international Manufacturers marketing eductors that serve all several types of applications, and they may be used in a portable manner or in cases requiring fixed foam installations.
LGE/Foam Tanks
It is essential to house the LGE used in foam systems in appropriate tanks. They come in polyethylene, fiberglass, or carbon steel, have appropriate internal and external treatments and are available in horizontal and vertical versions.
